Why Pay More?
Some attorneys feel that if they spend a lot of money hiring a mediator from one of those prestigious (and expensive) mediation firms, the outcome will be better than with an independent mediator like me.
Just last week, as I write this, I resolved (settled) two cases that mediators from the expensive panel firms could NOT settle. And I did it at a fraction of what they paid the prestigious panel mediators.
Look, folks, paying more isn’t always a guarantee of a successful outcome. Reality: More is NOT better, unless they charge you only if they settle your case, which, of course, they will never do. Stop thinking more is better. It isn’t.
